CASL get approved for project fund under Teaching Company Scheme (TCS), in partnership with Hong Kong Polytechnic University
CASL has long been partnered Hong Kong Polytechnic University (POLYU) in Internship programs and Poly-Preneur™ since 2013. Now CAS has gotten approval from HKSAR Government in principle a grant of project fund under the Innovation and Technology Fund (ITC), partnership with The POLYU, to carry out the project of A Cased-based Multi-agent Workflow Decision System for Enhancing the Efficiency of Integrated Warehousing and Transportation Operations (UIT/126). The project is funded under Teaching Company Scheme (TCS), an University-Industry Collaboration Program offered by ITC.
TCS aims to foster university-industry partnership by supporting local companies to take on graduate students who pursue a higher degree in local universities to assis in proprietary R&D tasks. In hopes of guaranteeing student benefits from his practical research experience in a genuine business environment, CAS is responsible to provide teaching guidance to the student in handling the project and keep close links with the university and infustry for better understanding of the problems.
